We found I&N through a recommendation from a friend and are so glad we hired them! They completed a full renovation for our condo including a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, full flooring, lighting, doors/walls/baseboards and minor layout adjustments. They check off all the boxes when looking for a contractor: (1) Communicative (2) Fair (3) Skilled (4) Lots of experience (5) Super nice! (6) Flexible (7) On time and stuck to the budget (!!) (8) Able to pivot, troubleshoot and deal with Condo Boards, NYC DOB and anything unexpected. They were so communicative - I knew they would never ghost us (which is always a worry on a big project). They helped us make design decisions, offered recommendations, but let us do our thing. They also returned to fix any outstanding issues even after the project was technically complete. Definitely will call them for all future projects. We love our 'new' place!

I used I&N Builders to renovate my basement after it got completely destroyed by some flood. Ilya and Nina were fantastic. They listened carefully to what I wanted, asked the right questions, talked budget and options, and made sure the project was set up for success. Then, their team executed beautifully. They did such a beautiful job with such a high end finish touch that tells a lot of how competent and thorough they are. My basement is my favorite place of the house to hang out now. I would definitely rehire I&N in the future for my next renovation project.

I&N Builders beautifully renovated our apartment. We have a prewar apartment and we wanted to keep the character while modernizing the layout and function. I&N totally succeeded. We moved walls and replaced most surfaces, but it does not look like a soulless box, nor does it have any of the weird compromises you sometimes see in the renovations of old apartments. I&N found a great solution for every problem we encountered. Now I walk in and am delighted instead of dejected. Love it!
